1. Who we are

CraftFork (craftfork.com) is a platform for homebrew recipes. We respect your privacy and handle your personal data responsibly.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following information:

• Account information: name, email address and profile picture (upon registration or social login via Google or GitHub)
• Profile information: username, biography, location and website (optional)
• Content: recipes, brew sessions, comments and images you create
• Technical data: session cookies for login

3. How we use your data

Your data is used to:

• Provide and improve the service
• Manage your account and login
• Display your content to other users (public recipes)
• Send notifications about activity on your recipes

We never sell your data to third parties.

4. Social login

When logging in via Google or GitHub, we receive access to your name, email address and profile picture from the provider. We do not gain access to your passwords or other data at the provider.

5. Storage and security

Your data is stored with Vercel (hosting), Neon (database) and Vercel Blob (images), all with servers within the EU/EEA region. Connections are encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt.

6. Cookies

We use necessary session cookies for login functionality. When you accept analytics cookies, we use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized usage data to improve the service. No advertising cookies are used. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner at the bottom of the page.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data via your profile
• Correct incorrect information via profile settings
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently
• Export your recipes in BeerXML format

8. Data deletion

You can delete your account via your profile page. All your data is permanently deleted, including recipes, brew sessions, images, comments and profile. Data already forked by other users will no longer credit you after deletion.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or notification in the service.
