Kölsch-style ale yeast originating from Päffgen Brauerei, Cologne, Germany. Produces clean, slightly fruity hybrid character that can lager well at cooler temperatures. Ideal for Kölsch, Altbier and clean German ales. Equivalent to Fermentis K-97, Lallemand Köln, White Labs WLP029 and Wyeast 2565.
