Munich lager yeast originating from Augustiner Bräu, Munich, Germany. Produces rich, malt-forward lagers with moderate attenuation leaving good body. Ideal for Märzen, Oktoberfest, Munich Dunkel and traditional Bavarian lagers. Equivalent to Fermentis S-189, Lallemand Diamond, White Labs WLP860 and Wyeast 2308.
